Fishing can be a great way to spend time with your family and loved ones in the summer. At Little Meadows Lake and Campground, we welcome fishers of all ages! Bring your own rods and bait, and spend some time relaxing with your family. We do not require you to have a Maryland fishing license, just pay our reasonable fishing fees or purchase a yearly fishing pass to fish as much as you want from mid-April to mid-October. We offer boat rentals at $8.00 a day. (paddles and life jackets included). No outside boats allowed. Children under six fish free! We also offer discounts for large church and children’s groups.

A Stocked Lake Means a Variety of Catches
We keep our lake well stocked with a variety of fish native to Garrett County, Maryland. This means that no matter if you come to fish right when we open on April 15, you visit us throughout the season, or you are there on October 15 to close out the season with us, you will have a great chance of reeling in a big one. Throughout the season, if you catch a tagged trout, you win a cash prize!

Make a Day of It: Bring Your Own Rod and a Picnic Lunch
If you are planning on spending some time at Little Meadows Lake and Campground fishing, why not make a day of it? Bring your own rods and rent a picnic table or gazebo for the day. You can have a picnic with your loved ones, or simply just have a solid place to put your belongings while you are fishing. Our facilities are pet friendly, so you can even bring your dog on a leash and play in our spacious grassy areas while some members of your family fish. We do not allow swimming in the lake, but the grassy areas are large enough to play Frisbee, throw a ball, and play other yard games.

We invite our guests to cool off by swimming in our beautiful Little Meadows Lake. Nothing beats a good swim on a warm day! We only permit swimming in designated areas, however. Guests under the age of 12 may only swim with adult supervision.

Camping is a wonderful way to spend quality time with your loved ones in the summer. Whether you just want to spend a day or two in the woods with your family, or you want to spend a little longer relaxing away from it all, Little Meadows has campsites to accommodate your needs. We have sites for RVs and tents, and we even have pull-through sites for larger campers. Our facilities include water and electricity and dumping stations for RVs, as well as grassy areas that are perfect to set up a tent. Whether you are renting a space for a tent or an RV, we have showers available for our campers to use.

Rent A Campsite for as Long as You

At Little Meadows Lake & Campground, you can rent one of our campsites for as long as you would like. We offer nightly, weekly, and yearly rates. You can combine nightly and weekly rates to create a perfect length of stay for you and your family. You may just want to camp for a weekend. You may be interested in staying for 16 days. Your family may want to spend the whole season, from April to October, with us. No matter what, our family at Little Meadows happily welcomes you and your family.
